Privacy Policy
Effective: July 24, 2026
This policy explains what stays in your browser, what is sent to our server, and when third-party services process information. Do not use TrueFeeCalc for secrets, payment credentials, government identifiers, health information, or confidential records.
- Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and tool usage. Google may receive device, browser, approximate location, referring-page, and interaction data and process it under Google's own terms.
- Accounts and optional email forms
Calculators do not require an account. If you join a waitlist or submit an email form, the form data is sent to FormSubmit and delivered to our inbox; those services may retain it under their own policies. You may ask us to delete a submission by emailing hello@truefeecalc.com.
- Local calculations and workspace
Standard calculator math runs in your browser. The optional workspace stores calculator inputs and report snippets in your browser's local storage until you clear the workspace or browser data. That local data is not automatically synced to a TrueFeeCalc account.
- Third-party AI processing
When you click an AI report or vendor-quote comparison button, submitted text, numbers, and relevant file names are sent to our server and forwarded to the configured model provider, currently SiliconFlow or DeepSeek. For PDF quote comparison, the PDF itself is parsed in your browser, but the extracted full text leaves your device. The provider may process data in other countries.
- Retention and training limits
TrueFeeCalc's application code does not intentionally write AI prompt content, uploaded PDFs, extracted quote text, or model replies to a database or content log. A one-way IP hash and request timestamps are written for rate limiting. Hosting access/error logs and model-provider systems may retain request data under their own policies; we do not promise zero retention or no training by third parties. Do not submit confidential or regulated data. We will update this policy before offering a stronger contractual retention or training commitment.
- Your choices
You can use non-AI calculators without sending calculator inputs to the AI endpoint, clear the browser workspace at any time, and avoid optional analytics or form features through browser controls. Contact hello@truefeecalc.com for access or deletion questions about information we directly control.
Third-party services have separate policies: Google Analytics, FormSubmit, SiliconFlow, DeepSeek, the hosting provider, and the CDN used to load PDF.js. Their retention and international-transfer practices are not controlled by TrueFeeCalc.
